Please may I take a picture of your Chestnuts...

...I heard myself say! Whoops!
Cheryl and I had a mini photo adventure out in a misty Manchester yesterday. We walked for miles and  I wasn't feeling completely inspired but here are a few of my favourite shots anyway.

I hope you all have a fantastic time tonight, just about to go and get ready! :0) HAPPY NEW YEAR!!

Sophia & Tim's Engagement Shoot

So, this is my first ever engagement shoot and I had no idea how much fun it was going to be!
My lovely friends Sophia and Tim are childhood sweethearts from Northampton and as you can
see from the pictures their love is still as fun and fresh as the day they met. They introduced me to
all their favourite places in Northampton and then took me to Sophia's enchanted fairy garden at
the back of her family home!

Playing with my new 50mm f/1.8 Lens

I was so excited when I got this lens a couple of months ago and I have to say that I have hardly put it down! I know its just made of plastic and is cheap as chips but I have to admit I LOVE IT!  Here are a couple of the very first pictures I took with it. I love the depth of field and the clarity it gives to pictures, I feel like it has opened the door to a whole new world of photography for me.

Is Christmas over already?

Just enjoying a nice post Christmas glass of wine with my lovely mum and sister and trying to work out how all this facebook/blogging works! Seen as it is the season of pure indulgence I thought it would be nice to share some of our Christmas naughtiness! I hope you've all had a fun filled Christmas too. x

The Good Life

I'm lucky enough to have In-laws who are very green fingered. They have the most amazing allotment and keep us fully stocked up with fresh fruit and veg all summer long! This summer they entered some of their vegetables into the village competition and came away with two 1st places, two 2nd places and 1 third, not bad for their first time! Well done Lynda and Giovanni.

Here are some piccies I took on the day, I know its now December and freezing outside but I though it might warm me up thinking of summer!
